Studio

Naomipeli’s workshop is located in Szentendre, a town with wonderful natural surroundings.

Located less than 20 kilometres from Budapest, the proximity of the Danube, Szentendre Island and the Pilis Mountains is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the artists. It is no coincidence that the town has always been a magnet for artists. For example, Jenő Barcsay, Béla Czóbel, János Kmetty, Jenő Kerényi, Lajos Vajda or Imre Ámos created their works here. Today, their art can be admired in the museums bearing their names. A large part of the work of ceramicist Margit Kovács can be seen in the permanent exhibition of the 11-room museum, while art lovers will also enjoy the Ferenczy Museum, renovated in 2010. The city is enriched by the presence of Greek and Serbian culture alongside Hungarian heritage.
